We pride ourselves in offering a tailored solution which meets the needs of the client and not the needs of the designer. All our sites can be programmed to be fully maintained and updated by our customers, therefore removing the need to pay the monthly maintenance fee that some other web design companies charge. We are not a graphic design company, we can offer a limited graphics service, all our experience is based upon our programming skills, taking your concepts and needs and delivering applications running in a web browser.  Over the years, we’ve also worked for several other web design companies doing custom programming to fit in with the needs of their clients.					Scotia Web Design Limited was formed in April 2003.  Based in West Lothian the business is owned and operated by Jason Lafferty. Jason has worked in IT since 1988 in various areas including training, desktop support, infrastructure, networking, application support and then since 2001 as an application developer using technologies including Lotus Domino, VB, Lotuscript, PHP and Java. In 2003, the business was born with one customer, the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, a customer who is still with Scotia today and whose website in 2007 delivered over 13 million pages to 152,000 unique visitors. Since 2003, the business has grown to over 30 customers, offering all aspects of web design and hosting as well as presence based static sites through to fully blown content managed sites and e-commerce sites.  We pride ourselves in offering these at competitive prices with a personal touch.
